Bass Pro Legends of Golf from Big Cedar on The Golf Channel, 2:00 - 5:00 PM tomorrow (Sunday).

If you haven't been there, you can see what it's like. If you have been there, you can see what it's like.

The only thing more boring than golf is golf on TV.

Well, for someone who grew up watching the corn grow for entertainment, it works for me. My life is so full and active and exciting, that sometimes it's nice just to sit and watch some golf.

and then you could get out the family lolipop and each take a single lick every harvest moon.

I watched golf in the early 90's on the weekend afternoons while doing homework. We didn't have cable and there wasn't much on the weekend. I think golf was slightly more interesting than baseball at the time.

              yup

              settlers

Turns out we were out looking at travel trailers and driving the back roads instead of watching golf, which just ended.

Not a big golf fan, but the greens are pretty. We had a unit at CMV that overlooked the golf course with the hills in the background -- once in a while some golfers would wander through, but aside from that it was just lovely.

Hopefully HH and OMR will continue to be as easy to work with as in the past.
The HH is for Holiday Hills, and I just got the 1-in-3 (4,5) restriction when I searched it. I had a Guest in 4 units last month, and a few others in recent years.

This one makes no sense at all since there are always a bunch of units available . . . 740 available units in the next year.

                      Welcome OLCC/Holiday Inn to Branson.

                          Make that over 1600 units.

I seem to have always had this thing with Orange Lake.

It's been awhile since trading restrictions had any impact on me/us, so I had to refresh myself a bit. It was often stated that they do not apply to Extra Vacations and Last Calls.

So, I search HH for LCs, and, sure enough, it showed 71 available.

So, I searched HH for LCs, and, sure enough, it showed 71 available.
I asked Holiday Inn Club Vacations/Orange Lake to clarify their policy, and a nice lady called today. It went about like every 1-in-4 discussion always goes. She said they do intend to enforce the rule at Holiday Hills, so you can only go there once every four years.

I asked if that applied to Extra Vacations and Last Calls, too, and she said yes, anything through RCI, but I sensed she didn't know what Extra Vacations and Last Calls are.

I explained that when I search for an exchange, it tells me I can't go there, but when I search for EVs or LCs, it shows a whole bunch of stuff. I said those are rentals, not exchanges.

                              Extra Vacations:
                              Total Units Available: 873
                              2 Bedrooms 6 (4) Full Sat 25-Mar-2017 Sat 01-Apr-2017 USD 419.99
                              USD 249.00
                              Sale!

She asked me to hold on for a minute, and when she came back she said, that's correct, it doesn't apply to EVs and LCs.

So, despite her saying that, there is still that shadow of doubt, as there always has been.

                                RCI agrees/confirms:

                                "Hello,

Thank you for your e-mail. The 1 in 3 year rule does not apply to Extra Vacations booked for this resort. It only applies to one for one exchanges.

                                Thank you for choosing RCI.

                                Kind Regards,"
