There are been several negative threads about this resort here and on other timeshare forums. The negative comments were in response to questions from people considering buying there from an ebay auction, those who asked before they bought.
At the very least (or best), you now own a mediocre timeshare at a questionable resort that has not been responsive to owners and has not added amenities they promised, in an area that is overbuilt with timeshares and has a gazillion rental condos in exactly the same area the resort is located.RCI Member Since 24-Aug-1989/150-plus Exchanges***THE TIMESHARE GRIM REAPER~~~Exchanging/Searching/SW Florida/MO/AR/IA/Consumer Advocacy/Estate Planning/Sports/Boating/Fishing/Golf/Lake-living/Retirement****Sometimes ya just gotta be a dick

I sorta did that on another thread where he is fishing for good news. In that thread I invited him to email me and we'll help sort out what he has. I also asked where he's at on his purchase, to see if it's a done done deal.

If you are referring to my comments, it only sounds like abuse to those who don't know me.
Having been one who persevered through a tyrannical timeshare management team for way too many years, I believe the best policy is truth and quick, the sooner the better.

You're welcome, and I am not the official welcomer here. I'm just another peon trying to tell it like it is. Those here who have known me for 8 or 10 years or whatever it has been know that.

Here, let me start all over.
That's for me.
Congratulations on your wonderful purchase.
Branson is a super town and a great place to own. The condos around Thousand Hills are all just lovely. And you're not far from the strip. Great catch!
Settle back, chill, and enjoy yourself.
I just won an ebay auction Sunday night, and I, too, am awaiting a sight-unseen purchase. So I know your apprehension.
Good luck with your ownership and maybe someday when you're in town you and yours can come on out to Jim and Jenny's Margaritaville dock.

Good. My heart cockles are slightly warmer.
This and the same thread elsewhere have been hanging there in my subconscience. I've been thinking about when we first got involved in timesharing.
There were no Internet forums back then, so there was no way for those who had proceeded before us to help us, give us the real information. For years we just assumed that what we had been told by all those who had told us stuff, to get our money and to continue getting our money, must be true.
We owned for nearly 12 years before I finally came to the conclusion that it was not. The years since have been far more productive than those 12. We did not feel real good about facing the truth, but we wound up getting rid of all four or our original weeks, just to stop the disappointment and financial bleeding.
I really would have appreciated learning the truth much earlier, even if it wasn't sugar-coated.RCI Member Since 24-Aug-1989/150-plus Exchanges***THE TIMESHARE GRIM REAPER~~~Exchanging/Searching/SW Florida/MO/AR/IA/Consumer Advocacy/Estate Planning/Sports/Boating/Fishing/Golf/Lake-living/Retirement****Sometimes ya just gotta be a dick

We're about 25 miles from the heart of town, but we have 5 extra slips. There is an access ramp across the cove and a place to leave your trailer. Keep that in mind.
