Frankly I'd rather go to OL than to any Branson "resort", any day!

I love Branson and want to plan a trip back in the next couple of years. Besides the shows, the outlets there have so much better prices than the ones we visit in California. I know that some people do have preconceived ideas, but it really is a fun place if you just let them go and go and enjoy yourself.

We are going to be in Branson this November. We hope to catch some Christmas shows and have been told that there are wonderful decorations at that time of year.

        Is that true JLB?

Yup, it's beautiful for Ozark Mountain Christmas, which starts the first of November. Big Cedar grounds and Silver Dollar City are the best. The Christmas tree in the square at SDC is one-of-a-kind.

It will the first year, but you can count on Branson Landing being doodied up.

All of the shows revamp and come out with Christmas shows Nov 1. Christmas shows with patriotic salutes!

We normally get some Area Appreciation discounts when the Christmas shows start, so they have a nice audience to work out the bugs in front of.

It sounds like quite a few are planning November trips here. I can think of a half-dozen or so without even thinking, (I do that a lot)

Branson November? John and I at the Cabins for three nights starting Sunday November 19 (my birthday trip). Haven't told John yet, but I'm going to order tickets for Duttons, Haygoods, and Broadway, maybe Dalena (his "serenader" at the Woods, remember?)

Oh, and thanks so much for posting the link to the Branson thread, I would never have seen it as I don't read the Marriott board. Looks like the OP may have made some Branson converts for our little "Central" group.

Yeah, the nice things get said in a round-about way!

Topeka Tom and Topeka Barb will be here in November, I believe, with guests, at Pointe Royale. T. Saviano Thanksgiving Week at Big Cedar with two units. Oracle. Youse guys. Us guys.
