All's Well That Ends Well

We just got back home from an afternoon show with Rapmarks.

It's funny because I was talking to them yesterday about my Dad's car, Jenny's Mom winding up with it when Dad died, and Rapmarks were given the same kind of car.

They got a more-than-a-fair setlement, so we are thinking about parking our Sunfire in the same space, and just waiting. I told Rapmarks I would even be willing to drive to Wisconsin and back for as good a settlement.

The restuarant is a tea room owned by longtime friends of ours, and our friends felt very bad too.

Glad everything worked out. I was confused at first and thought Pat's car was a rental. You don't need adventures like that!! shaggy

I have wanted to tell everyone how much we appreciate the help we received from JLB and Jenny. We would have been in an awful pickle without them.

Jim mentioned that we hitched a ride to Springfield with someone staying at the resort, someone we had just met.

compare that to our experience at our home resort on Lake of the OZarks. At the welcome breakfast the resort manager announced that they had rescheduled the boat tours because the weather is supposed to change for the worse on Tuesday. However, only 8 riders at a time are allowed on the boats. Many people were unable to book the trip. We offered to take anyone along with our scheduled boat time, on the same lake, on the same boat. We even personally invited 2 couples but noone would join us. When we brought the boat in, these same people were waiting on the dock for the resort cruise, which only cost $10 each as opposed to our free. Many others were unable to get out on the lake at all.

so all I can say is I am glad we did not look so scary looking to JLb and the other couple who gave us a ride, as we do to the people at this resort.
