I also have a bunch of other sites, but have not reviewed them for this season.
We went to Area Appreciation for Dixie Stampede opening day, and took some family friends, and we went to Area Appreciation for Pierce Arrow. Both were as great as ever.
To see how much we were saving, I took a look at the retail price for Dixie Stampede. I believe it was $52. A single-day adult pass to Silver Dollar City is $49.44. The Branson Belle is $63.41 for Preferred and $52.66 for Main. Shoji is $49.31.
Can you believe how much it would cost a family of four if they went to just two major attractions a day for week?
Which raises a question in our mind. What would your spending limit be? For a week in a place like Branson or Orlando how much would you be willing to spend on attractions, over and above lodging, travel and food?RCI Member Since 24-Aug-1989/150-plus Exchanges***THE TIMESHARE GRIM REAPER~~~Exchanging/Searching/SW Florida/MO/AR/IA/Consumer Advocacy/Estate Planning/Sports/Boating/Fishing/Golf/Lake-living/Retirement****Sometimes ya just gotta be a dick

Wow, when I saw this thread had been revived the picture in my mind's eye was Dixie Stampede!!!
I guess narrow minds do travel the same path.
When I get some free time I need to make a list of shows and attractions that have a Locals policy, where we show a local ID or pay stub and get a deal. Some deals are as good as free, last-minute admission.
I believe at Dixie Stampede locals can get in one guest with each local ID and I believe it's around 20 bucks.
Perhaps there's also a minor discount, like 5 bucks, with SDC and All-City season passes, as with the Branson Belle also.
If you run out of money you can always just go talk to the horses on display in their pens outside the theater.RCI Member Since 24-Aug-1989/150-plus Exchanges***THE TIMESHARE GRIM REAPER~~~Exchanging/Searching/SW Florida/MO/AR/IA/Consumer Advocacy/Estate Planning/Sports/Boating/Fishing/Golf/Lake-living/Retirement****Sometimes ya just gotta be a dick

Depends (a standard Branson joke)
Stuff is open in March. Mid March SDC opens, which is kinda the benchmark for everything.
