Has anyone stayed in any good Michigan west coast timeshares in the summertime?

I am SO glad you asked about Michigan timeshares - being a nurse, my first thought was that you had had a heart attack (myocardial infarction)!
Glad you are well. Sorry I can't tell you anything about Michigan.

Having half my family being nurses, I should have seen that coming...

Not a nurse, but had the same reaction. Then I saw it was listed in the Midwest forum, and breathed a sigh of relief. Now if only someone will answer your question.... at least you know where to come if you need a medical opinion

From the phrasing of your question, I assume that you are looking for a timeshare on Lake Michigan, or at least very near Lake Michigan.

I have stayed at the Pinestead Reef in Traverse City, but not during the summer. While it is a converted motel, the location is superb for a stay during the summer. All the units overlook the beach at the southern end of the eastern arm of Grand Traverse Bay, and if you have a unit on the first floor you simply step off your patio onto the beach.

I have also stayed at Sudendorf, during the summer, but that is about 25 miles from Lake Michigan.

The Homestead in Glen Arbor is also on the beach. The Grand Traverse Resort in Acme has a private beach nearby on the eastern arm of Grand Traverse Bay and Harbor Cove in Harbor Springs has a private beach nearby on Little Traverse Bay. The Beach House in Holland is about a mile from Holland State Park which has a beach on Lake Michigan.

All the other timeshares are at least 15 miles from Lake Michigan, but some do overlook other lakes.
