Another beautiful day for men's league. Scramble again. The first week I played, with TUGger JPerkins 5 weeks ago, it was scramble, the score we needed to beat to earn jackpot money was 64, and we did 63.

So, today we needed to beat 63 to win jackpot money.

I was carted with a guy active in the POA, who I'd carted with before. On our first tee I told him 61 would win it today. He scoffed. (How slow they are to learn. )

We did extremely well, including me, thank you , and did 62. There were two 61s.

At lunch I looked at my cart buddy and asked, "Well what did it take to win?"

I believe his answer was something like, "You really are a smartass, aren't you?"
