Table Rock Landing at Holiday Island.

A really nice, peaceful, quiet resort at the beginning of Table Rock Lake. By water about 50 miles from the dam, near Branson.
My husband golfs, I don't have the patience for it. To me it never made sense to try to get a small ball 450 yds into a cup.
Did you ever tour the timeshare? I wonder what the configuration of the bedrooms are...we have a 2 bedroom and currently have not asked anyone to come with us. If there are at least 2 queens in the bedrooms, I may consider asking another couple with whom we travel with quite often.
Do you know if there is good fishing at the lake?
I know the distance is about an 1.5 hour to Branson, but to me that is an everyday commute.

Yes, we have toured Table Rock Landing.

We did long ago when we came to the Kimblering Inn on one of our first exchanges or Bonus Vacations. Wish Book in hand we set out to see what we had gotten ourselves into (timesharing). Table Rock Landing was the nicest TS we visited that trip.

As I recall, it seems like the master suite was upstairs and with a jetted tub. Even if that is just faulty memory, I would not hesitate taking another couple.

There is great fishing in the area if you know how to go about it. That is a beautiful area, with Ozark mountain views and high bluffs for lake banks. If George Washington was alive, he could probably skip a silver dollar across the lake there.

Beaver Lake is a striper lake and I believe the waters just below the Beaver Lake dam are Walleye.

We have had ample rain and the four lakes in the White River chain are all full.

Eureka Springs is a unique 1890's-style tourist desitination, over the years a very crafty area. In recent years it has taken an ecclectic twist. Not long ago we headed out to the Berryville Supercenter and came home via Eureka Springs and the backroads through Holiday Island. A very nice drive.

You might want to Google it.

Don't forget to drop me an email, and plan on coming by the Margaritaville Dock and going out on the BTSRN.

I'm heading out in a few minutes to pick up a guest from OY, to go play golf. I'm combining it with the match play tournament pairing I have with one of the 16-year-old scratch golfers. He is also match-playing another high school guy at the same time.

          So it should be fun.

We enjoy sharing the things we find to be fun. We now share our January vacations with a couple who have been friends for 20 years.

It is our policy to take the living room when we get a one bedroom unit.

I'm going to call the resort today to make sure it's twin beds. As much as I know what I should do...somehow, when I'm on vacation..I can't seem to take the twin beds. Small bedroom, no problem, jacuzzi in the room, no problem, twin beds....no, can't bring myself to do it.
