  • My first timeshare vacation

Well I'm excited! I am going on my first timeshare vacation on Sunday. I am going to two harbors, MN and staying at superior shores. It's about 30 minutes from Deluth and a couple hours from Thunder Bay Canada. I am very much looking forward to it.

On the retrun trip I will be driving through Minneapolis where I will stay with a friend and see the broadway production of the Lion King which happens to be on tour there right as I am driving through.

    I'm excited.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

The north shore of Lake Superior is very pretty. I had some relatives who used to live north of where you are going in the last "town" on the US side of the Canadian border. It's been years, since I have been up there. I hope that you have a great time! You'll want to pack some warm clothing, but I don't think that the locals have broken out the long johns yet.

Big Papa, enjoy your first timeshare vacation at two harbors at superior shores. I hope the weather will be good for you but they post here to take some warm clothes with you. That's never a problem if the sun is shining.

Our first timeshare stay was in January 1984 and I still remember it well and we will be there again next Friday! I hope you will like it as much as we did with our very first timeshare vacation. It was nice meeting you in the SFX chat room tonight.

I visited that area three weeks ago and have some pictures on my webshots and picturetrail sites and also myspace. Click on the links below to see them.

I was born and raised in Minnesota and had never been to Lake Superior. I especially enjoyed the Gooseberry Falls State Park. The colors were great, too. Have a great time.

Do take WARM clothing with you! I lived in Duluth for many years and this time of year is very breezy and cold near Lake Superior. It is absolutely beautiful in the area. I'm sure you will have a wonderful time. ENJOY

                          Yes, dress warmly.

As chilly and blowy as it is way down here, I can imagine what it's like way up there!

Not much different than our first timeshare vacation, a $99 Vacation Escape to Sun Bay in Hot Springs in a January!!!!!

                              hot springs

                              Jlb,

We are thinking about exchanging into Hot Springs and digging for diamonds as a side trip. We don't golf. Are there other things to do in Hot Springs to keep us entertained for the rest of the week?
