One thing I have learned from experiencing it, and that is to stay away over major weekends, like 4th of July. Trying to drive anywhere near the old town was difficult at best.

I'm not on my own computer, so don't have the link, but google for Table Rock Lake level to follow it yourself.
Right now it is normal power pool, 915 and change, but that is 4 feet higher than this time last year.
Today it is snowing, tonight 18, four days from now, 70.

Can you give a report on the lake levels thus far and as the spring progresses?
We be down in May with our boat and last year was so challenging for homeowners, resorts, and visitors.
Thanks,

Yes, by normal (top) power pool I mean that is where the Corps likes it, 915. Last Spring it was at top flood pool, what we call the take line. As I dealt with it I found surveyor's nails marking it.
Normally there is a winter drawdown, to generate peak winter electricity and to prepare for Spring rains. We have seen the 890s. This winter we haven't had that drawdown.
So . . .
I'm back on my Ole POC, looking out at the lake, so here's that link.
