Branson's Cross Creek Development

I haven't had occasion to head out east toward Holiday Hills recently, but have reported on development, or lack thereof, in Cross Creek, near HH. It is a struggling development, like many in Branson right now, that just happens to have some very upscale 4 bedroom houses available for exchanges through whoever and however.

I just noticed in a local paper that a Dollar General recently opened in the strip mall anchoring the development, and the story said a grocery store is being built.

I spoke a day too soon.

Yesterday after our 25th Anniversary dinner with friends from a certain other timeshare forum , I took them out to show them Hoilday Hills, since we had played the Holiday Hills guys in golf league yesterday morning.

Cross Creek doesn't look much different. The strip mall out front is still deserted, with the four unbelievably nice timeshare houses right behind.

There were some new houses way off in the distance, but not much.
