Speaking of Shoji, he has a reputation of being very stingy, tight. Many shows have a locals policy, discounts if seats are available, anytime. He does not.

He just happens to have Area Appreciation this week, something he seldom has. When other shows do that, they allow at least two per drivers' license, some more.

Yesterday morning was golf league, and my wife and the wife of a couple we met through a certain other TS forum, with whom we are good friends, decided we would do the 3:00 Shoji. The other couple owns a house and pays taxes here, but haven't changed their DL yet.

After golf, we met the girls at an outlet mall, and they went to Shoji's to get tickets. They called saying they needed my drivers license. The ticket windows were packed. My wife came out front and got my license. Then, I had to go in, so they could see me!!!!

When the girls got their tickets, my buddy said why not take the licenses and get two more, standing in another line. I did. When I got to the front, now the lady wanted to see my wife, who was no longer standing nearby. I stepped aside. Then I got DW to wave from across the lobby, and the lady started issuing our tickets.

But, no, that ticket cop standing behind the lady working my window came over and asked for my wife to come stand with me. (I perceived her as being formerly emplyed as a TS forum administrator

). So, my wife did, and the lady working my window started issuing our tickets again. But, no, the ticket cop lady stepped back into the picture, wanting to see my wife herself.

I politely said, "Ma'am, I don't need to see Mr. Tabuchi this bad, nor neither do our guests who visit, who we take to shows, ever. I've got some golf to go play. Have a nice day."

Me and my buddy played 18 more holes and DWs met us at the clubhouse after. They said the theater was more than half empty.

And all lived happily ever after.

Any idea where I would get a discount code?

No. Why not google something like Branson discount coupons or codes?

Any problem doing the Shoji show at 3 pm and Jim Stafford at 8 pm the same day?

Any reason why I shouldn't order from them?

Sorry, I've never heard of a discount code for this site.

No problem ordering from them; it's very convenient and entirely reputable.

No problem doing a 3:00 show and an 8:00 show.

When I did a search, two of the links were to other forums where people asked the same question. LOL.

Another site that gave discounts didn't have them for any of the shows I am getting.

Guess I'll go ahead and order.
