I used one a few years ago when we went to the Dells. I bought mine on eBay. There are several listed there now. None of them are my auctions! Coupon book is much better at around $5 versus the $20 online.
only the one casino Marti
I live in the Dells for 5 and a half months, and I don't believe I can get my money's worth out of that coupon book, few two for ones, 10% off or 25% off is more the norm. We no longer use the activity coupons and Christmas Mountain went away from publishing coupons, and this is where we do most of our things.
I probably would buy it for $5.
We buy the Dells Fun Card and use it a lot.
Rapmarks, that is Ho Chunk, isn't it? I think that is the place we pass by when we go to Baraboo. Usually end up in that area for the scrapbook trip, or the Menards trip.
With Bluegreen, we found discounts using the traveler plus, 20% off or some 2 for 1 coupons.
There are a number of on-line discount sites. Once you sign up, you will have a friend for life. Na-it isn't that bad, but they will send you email notices of new discounts etc.
yes, it is Ho Chunk
they have a breakfast special for $3 on Tuesday mornings, but my husband is giving a nature hike at Christmas Mountain at that time so i am not overeating at their breakfast buffet this summer.
I am not sure if that is a question, but the WOLX site is giving away free tickets on Sundays in august and it is a nice place to visit. I have a two for one for that place too.
as Vitner said, there are deals out there that you don't have to pay for . Ishnalas has been running a $15 off coupo n in the local papers.
I live in the Dells for 5 and a half months.......
What months are you there?
If the airfare don't get a little more friendly, we may be at CMV a lot more in the near future.
And did you say your husband was giving the hike? Where do they hike? We won't be there until mid Oct., but it might be nice leave time. Maybe if I bring our hiking boots, I can convince the wife to take a hike.
Vitner, the hike only runs from Memorial day to Labor day, he will do it the whole week after Labor Day this year, last year he did it til October. He doesn't get paid, so he stops doing it when the weather changes.
He goes up the mountain, he has had as many as 28 people join him. He points out nature things (that is a scientific term). He does that twice a week and then one night a week he does a slide show on the natural beauty of the Dells and surrounding area. It says the tours last an hour, but it is usually longer as he gets a lot of questions . People really want to know what else to see and do in the area that shows the natural beauty.
We stay here from around Mother's Day til mid to late October.
When we go to Florida, he is the volunteer naturalist at the state park near our home.
We have reservations over fall break (last weekend in Oct). Is there anything going on at the Dells during that time? We'll be staying at CMV. Or should I change the reservations elsewhere (within in driving distance of Indy). If so, suggestions? Oh, and we own BG.
The nature walk sounds wonderful! We will be there over Labor Day. What time is the walk and where do we meet? Do you have many kids join you? My kids are 9 and 13.
the walks are Tues and Thurs at 9 am. We are having company t hat weekend, or he would probably do it with you on the weekend. In fact the company is my family, so he may do it anyhow!
