Bring on the tacky!! At least there will be something to do. I have not learned to relax yet on a vacation. EX I stayed at Peek n Peek a couple of years back , and altho beautiful there was nott enough for me to do. When I went to Niagara Falls I was in heaven. Stayed 3 days and wish I had stayed longer. I can sit on my butt at home. I can relax best at the beach. shaggy

Getting there. Being from Missouri I am partial to it and it's places, like Branson, Lake of the Ozarks St. Louis, Kansas City, etc.. All have their charm in their own way.

To each his own. We spent 1 night at Pacific Shores a couple of years ago. I was really looking forward to seeing the place because I'd heard such wonderful things about it. We thought it was the worst resort we'd ever visited. When the tide was out, it was mud for as far as the eye can see. We had a "studio" which was more poorly furnished and equipped than a standard hotel room. And there wasn't much to do there and not even much of a choice of places to eat.

People love it there - but we will never return.
