  • Branson Leaves, Lights and Lightning Bugs

It's about that time for the annual When Is the Best Time To Come To Branson For the Autumn Leaves . . . Christmas Lights . . . And Will We See Lightning Bugs thread OY.

As always, I would have said the first week in November the leaves will be at their peak . . . and they are . . . the peak being various shades of brown this year (again). And this is the first day of Ozark Mountain Christmas, so Christmas lights will be on tonight, and the first Christmas shows, too.

As far as lightning bugs, I really haven't been paying attention, but if I remember, I will look tonight. It is a pretty day, and if they made it through our recents frosts, who knows?

Yesterday was beautiful and last night was mild, the type you would see November lightning bugs, and I did not.

Sounds like a nice time to come to the Ozarks...maybe I'll switch my calendar around for 2010.
      What are the temps like?

I can't give a guarantee for when you might be here , but today was low 70s and tonight will be mid 50's.

It was beautiful on the golf course.

The average high now is around 65.

The month of November is one of our favorite times of year!

Timeshare Travelers and Vacationers should always consider a fall vacation.
In the southern areas the tree leaves are at peak & the colors are beautiful.

Christmas Shows are starting and one gets to enjoy a trip to their favorite
area (ex: Branson MO, Myrtle Beach, Orlando, Williamsburg, etc.) without
the heat, humid and huge crowds (since most of the kids are in school).

          The perfect time to Vacation
Thats why we are here in SC

We had three nights of frost last week . . . Except for that we might still have lightning bugs.
