I would wait until the next years book comes out. You will likely pay a little more, but the coupons will be current and for places that are still around.

Otherwise, yes, they are good books and you can get your value out of them.

I stopped buying that book and I am there for 5 plus months.

I buy the Dells fun card for $10 and the drink card for $10. I use lots of the punches on those cards, and we really don't drink alcohol but they will let you use them for soft drinks too and at the same time you use the food card. My neighbors like them too because the restaurants are moderately priced ones .
If I knew for sure that other timeshare board members would buy them, I could get a deal for buying in bulk. The owner of the Fun Card is a local Dells businessman and he works hard to get merchants to get on his card. He is working hard to get christmas Mountain on it, and hopefully the new manager will cooperate. The last manager cut out all coupon offers.
Those Dells Fun Cards would be a good giveaway for those that rent out their Christmas Mountain weeks, because they could be mailed with the contract. (they are the size of a credit card).

Dells Fun Card

The dells fun card shows CMV listed for 2 for 1 ski lift tickets on Wisconsin Dells Best Discount Card - Buy 1 Get 1 Only $10 . Is that still valid?

Also, where can I buy the card in the Dells? Looks like some good deals. Does anyone know if the website has the current deals on it for 2008?

that card will be good until Dec 31. so you could use it on the ski hill if you ski before then.
the owner has cards at Culver's (a machine in the store), used to be one at Quiznos, I think you might be able to buy at Perkins. he owns Indian Trails motel but I believe he closes for the winter. I don't know when he puts out the 2009 card.
