KC to Estes Park starting early and taking til dinner time.
Coming back half way late Sunday and the rest Monday morning.
The only thing we stopped to see going out was restrooms and food. A motel coming back.

The better exits are Junction City, Salina, Hays. Slim pickins in W KS, E CO. Colby, Burlington and Limon, which we call the armpit of the world.
The van/pickup just knew where to stop.

I'm sure Jerald will find some. Are there any better than others?

There really isn't much to see and do between Denver and KC. The highlights have been touched upon by other posters. I was working in Colby several years ago. I remember leaving Salina and my Sprint cell phone stopped receiving a signal. I thought it was broken, because, with its headquarters in Overland Park, KS, I figured Sprint would have service on I-70 all across the state. Not so.
