There was a German couple at the golf course the other day. I asked them how they happened to pick Branson and they said had a week at Hot Springs Village so just look for something not too far away for the second week.
So I knew they were RCI.
They were not what I would call typical.
My buddy asked them if they had been to Califonia and they said Yeah and they didn't like it.
I said there are a lot of Germans in SW FL, with German businesses and German restaurants. They said they don't like Florida and they don't like German food on vacation. They said they like stuff like ribs.
They said they had a little problem with the dialect in Hot Springs, but the way we talk in the Ozarks must have been okey dokey with em.
They said RCI is not well thought of in Europe but that there are some wonder RCI places in Germany. She called them houses. They invited me to come visit.
I told them they speak American better than I would speak German.
Anyway, whodathunk Branson would be a preferred destination for Europeans?
