Last night for Tavern on the Green

Just saw on the news Tavern on the Green closing after tonight, Hopefully they will be re bought and revamped.

I remember going there years ago--in the 1980s, for a press conference. It was soooo beautiful, with the lights and the park, but the food was only so-so, even then.

I've heard it was a tourist trap. Scuttlebutt is that it will be refurbished and will re-open and probably with the same name.

Every thing inside is going on Sale Jan 13, From what I heard it will be revamped and sold and should open up again by the end of the year, I recall the Russian Tea room doing the same thing years ago.
