.....Festiva Resorts gave us a statement saying complaints at the Sandcastle are largely related to the actions of Cliff Hagberg and Outfield Marketing, not Festiva. The company did say, however, that it will return property deeds to any Sandcastle owners who feel they were pressured to join Festiva.
Outfield Marketing, whose principals own a majority stake in the Sandcastle resort, did not return our phone calls.
The Attorney General's office in Massachusetts said it has so far received 49 complaints from timeshare owners at the Sandcastle. A spokeswoman told us the agency is still interested in hearing from people who feel they may have been subjected to false or misleading sales tactics...........
