September 23:
Chamber Music on Fifth I
Talented young chamber players from the Graduate Center's Doctor of Musical Arts (D.M.A.) program perform works by Franz Schubert and Robert Schumann.
October 7:
Chamber Music on Fifth II
Talented young chamber players from the D.M.A. program perform works by Ned Rorem, Shirish Korde, Toru Takemitsu, Sergei Rachmaninoff, and Marie Incontrera.
October 21:
Dorian Wind Quintet
The program will include transcriptions of selected works of J. S. Bach and the Anniversary Variations on a theme by AntonĂn Reicha.
November 4:
Elebash Piano Trio
Accomplished Graduate Center Doctor of Musical Arts students will perform Tchaikovsky's Trio in A Minor, op. 50 ("In Memory of a Great Artist").
November 18:
Manhattan String Quartet
Described by the Boston Globe as "a national treasure," the Manhattan String Quartet will perform works by Mozart and Schoenberg.
December 2:
Paula Robison presents Arnold Schoenberg's Pierrot Lunaire, op. 21
Paula Robison steps outside her role as a renowned solo flutist to create a new English version of Arnold Schoenberg's Pierrot Lunaire texts.
