Daryl Strawberry opened up a Sports Bar in Douglaston. Tonight our plan was to go to Donovan's but the parking lot was full and there was a long wait. I guess that is a sign the economy is on the rebound for sure.
We opted to go east to Douglaston and settled on Strawberry's. Typical Sports Bar fare, Burgers, Wings, Ribs, etc. This place is next to Il Toscano by the Douglaston RR station.
As we were wrapping up the Daryl himself made an entrance. He made the rounds to the tables, and shook hands, and photos with the kids dining. We were too shy to take a photo.
