Click the link, and a list of the participating restaurants will show up. You can then see if they are offering lunch, dinner, or both. Click the dinner, or lunch link, and the menu will pop up.

I would love to here recommendations - I already have DD and DSIL2Bs favorite Seafood and Bobby Vans - some other suggestions for the west side/Upper west side/Manhattan club area are appreciated - for dinner.

When I click on the "lunch/dinner" link, it just brings me to the reservation page....will keep looking.

Edit - has anyone eaten at the Oak Room at the Plaza Hotel???

Once you're on the reservation page, scroll down to the menu....You'll be directed to the restaurants website/menu.

I haven't eaten there since it's been redone a couple of years ago. I think they have various performers/musicians there. It's a bit upscale, but I think its a good choice. I'd check to see if they have anyone performing that week.

I am very tempted to try Megu or Megu midtown. Problem is if you don't like what's on the restaurant week menu, it might take a second mortgage to order something else

That's how these places get you.....Sometimes, your favorite dish isn't included on the "restaurant week" menu, or you see something else on the regular menu that you just have to have.

You need to go in determined to focus only on the restaurant week menu. Lol

DD was very excited when I mentioned the Plaza- she has never been and is looking forward to 'dressing up' and going. The menu also looks great! I agree with you.

And I have been to One if by Land.... but am embarrassed to say HOW many years ago

I made a lunch resie here - db Bistro - I believe you and I and Angela had dinner here?

I will check Cesca and Telepan.

Pat, it sounds like a fun week! Great timing. Enjoy!

BTW, yes, I think we did have dinner there. Food was very good, and pretty, too!

Pat, check Happymum about the Oak Room first - I think she may have been there recently, unless there is another restaurant at the Plaza too.

Telepan is really nice and their restaurant week offerings have always been good. It is quieter and sleeker than Cesca. Cesca is a bit more bustling (can get loud), very good food though I've never been there for restaurant week.

I was going to mention dbBistro but haven't been there in quite some time, lol.

Thanks, they serve lunch in the Oak Bar which is a more casual setting and simple menu - I will check with her.
