  • Manhattan Club now accepting timeshares back from owners..

With the high annual fees, the number of Manhattan Club units on the market has really blown up over the past few years. Liquidations have even become difficult due to the resort transfer fee as well as the high cost of deeding and transfer fees association with Manhattan.

If you are an owner and have been considering liquidating- Manhattan Club is now accepting timeshare deedbacks from owners if the interval is free and clear. They are also paying a small amount for any penthouse units.

The value appears to have dropped to $1. Are they exercising their ROFR?

According to an employee I s.w yesterday, they are simply accepting weeks back at this time as direct deedbacks.. She had no idea how many they were going to accept back or when they would again stop..

This seems to be a resort with some major issues of concern and many owners simply want out.. Hopefully, this will help some of them.

Yes, but it will give the developer more inventory to sell to new tour victims, and the cycle will continue. At least new owners may be happy initially for some period of time, if they are able to get the reservations they want and MFs don't skyrocket any further for a while.
