omg (pun intended), that pope is too funny!! I'm not sure about Clapton being God... I do really like him, and he is a great guitar player, though there is a least one I am fonder of, possibly two. If you want to see great guitar playing live, go see Richard Thompson the next time he comes around to Joe's Pub or the IMAC in Huntington...and it won't cost you $150...

And, Voila! Richard Thompson will be at the Tarrytown Music Hall (great venue, btw) on November 3rd... he comes around at least annually, always sells out:

        Two Great Shows to Announce:

Richard Thompson will be returning to the Tarrytown Music Hall on November 3rd, and our friend Joe D’Urso is helping yet another group of folks with a Rockin’ Jersey Shore Benefit. Did you say, “Cause” ? Funny, but that’s the name of his new CD and you can find it at: http://www.jdcaravan.com/

For tickets to either show, check out: www.twincloud.com

For more info on Richard Thompson, check out www.richardthompson-music.com. "Catch of the Day" has some audio. He was a member of Fairport Convention, legendary English folk/rock, and has been a slightly underground success ever since. Great guitarist, lyricist, songwriter.

Frank, I didn't mean to burst your bubble about the big EC... he is certainly awesome!
