  • Oak and Spruce sleeps 8

So I have two weeks booked next summer. One was booked via II and it says Unit #587 3br sleeps 8. The second week is via RCI and it says TWO br sleeps 8 (no unit # with RCI of course.

Anyone know anything about these? Which are the fabulous Presidential Units with their own pool that everyone keeps talking about?

we had the presidential this September but it only slept 6. there was a small pool nearby, but it was closed for the season. maybe you could call and request before check in. we had a 6/6 with RCI.

I did not know they had a 3BR there, nice. The presidential units are nice and have a small near the building. Honestly your DD will probably enjoy being at the big main pool with all the kids.
Glitter just posted the Tanglewood concert schedule for the summer.
      Enjoy!

The two bedroom may or may not sleep 8. Most sleep 6. OnS doesn't translate the usual Silverleaf/RCI configurations. If you need to sleep more people, mention at checkin.

I've not yet seen the 3 bedrooms, but I think those MAY all be presidential units. Not certain. I've got a rez for one this summer, hopefully I will get there.

Generally, exchangers don't get Presidential if there are more standard units available. There have been exceptions.

Our family stayed in the 3 br unit twice during the winter vacation a few years ago. It is a presidential unit (there are only four in total). It is nice and very specious with a sofa bed in the living room, sleep total 8.

Let me know if you have any questions.

I'm excited! Since I booked it with II and the Unit # is on the confirmation I will make sure that I have it with me. Maybe they will be less likely to bait and switch then.

How do you ever get a place near Tanglewood in the summer. Of course 2012 there is nothing so I looked for the2013 season and there is nothing available for July or August in 2013

There are plenty of summer units in RCI.

Are you looking in RCI? If yes, how much trading power do you have? RCI gets more inventory than II, but if you put an ongoing search in with II enough in advance you will probably get something at Oak n Spruce.

RCI has other timeshares in the vicinity, too.
