on further research - tickets $20, runs through Jan 15th
tickets are only $20, and it's at one of my favorite OB theatres. Runs only through Jan 15th:

There are tickets for most nights available. Turns out it ran back in the spring in a different venue to good reviews and got extended, but that's harder to do at the Public. This is part of the Under the Radar Festival, thus the short run. It's a 75 minute show, starts at 7:30. Dinner at Indochine across the street after would make for a fun night downtown!
