This time we are here overnight thanks to Dani And this time I brought my camera, with charged battery!!

We were given a similar room to the last one down on the beach, but I asked to be switched to a higher floor so we could compare.

I will try to post photos when we get back, but my overall impression is that you can't go wrong with any floor in an oceanfront room. Just be prepared to go up and down a lot of stairs no matter where they put you (either down to the beach, or up to the main buildings and parking lot). We are on an upper floor in room 404, the deck is smaller, the room is identical, but the view is all water! It's like being on a cruise ship with a giant picture window. You have to walk down to the beach three flights from here, though.

I will post a detailed review when the database is set to go.

Avery, are you there right now? Please, post some pictures like Boca is doing too so we can all experience your timeshare vacation with you.

Don't you love to be on the ocean and the exercise is good for you walking up and down the steps. It just dawned on me today that you guys back east enjoy the sunrise like we enjoy our sunsets here.

Anyway, enjoy your stay and keep us posted.

I did the bring the camera. I did not, however, bring the cable for the laptop, sorry, Emmy.

Yesterday was actually about 15 or 20 degrees cooler here than it was three weeks ago, the fluctuation is 'typical' here this time of year. It's a bit hazy and cool this morning, hopefully it'll warm up soon. TOMORROW is supposed to be really gorgeous, but we will ge gone

No matter, this is a 'bonus' for us, we are happy to just relax.

Ok, going to take my coffee out on the deck and watch the waves for a while...

How far are you from home since it is such a short trip?

We live about 100 miles from Gurney's. On Memorial Day weekend, it took us 3.5 hours to get there, but yesterday afternoon we did it in about 2 hours. Much of the ride is expressway, but the last 45 miles or so are on a two lane (slow but pretty) road. We live only about 20 minutes from the ocean beaches, but the Hamptons are nicer.
