  • Holy Moly is it hot out there!

Just got back in from walking my dog, and both me and my dog are sweating, out of breath, and drinking water. Lol And, it's early!

It's gonna be 97 today in NY, with a real feel temperature of 105. Yikes!

Let's just pray that the electricity doesn't go out.

I think it reached 14oC here today and only stopped raining for about 1/2 an hour. Managed to get a run in but returned home dripping wet from head to toe. The puddles were just too wide to leap over so I landed in them mostly.

I'm staying warm, hope you manage to stay cool.

It was cooler here yesterday, down to 109 from 114 the day before. But at 5-9% humidity I am sure yours feels hotter, Greg

The rocks here are wet from the high humidity until the sun hits them. I came in at 9 from the garden because it was getting too hot.

Ummm, knowing how our electric company doesn't operate, this is the time for a power outage. We do have a standby generator. The AC isn't connected, though.

You all need to move south. It's cooler here in SC than up north. Warmer here in the winter too!

                Good comeback!!!

I like our seasons, too. Give me heat, or the occasional nor'easter, as opposed to flooding, tornadoes - or the ground moving!!

Oh no! I just had to give 2 of my Hydrangea bushes an emergency watering! Although they got watered this morning, they both were totally wilted, bent over touching the ground.

I love those bushes, and sure hope that they bounce back.......I think I need to move them in the fall. Looks like they're getting more sun then they can handle.

Hurricane? Tornado? Earth moving? What are those things?? Flooding, a lot of that in the Northeast lately. We have 3 seasons and sure don't miss the snow. Just ribbing. Y'all take care now!

My nephew graduated in NJ last night at 6:00. Sister said it was very hot. When she got home, she had no power. Garage door opener wouldn't work and she had no key. Luckily she only had to wait about a 1/2 hr before the power came back on.
