Yeah, it took my DH much longer to get home from work last night. The Northern State was flooded in areas, and some local traffic lights were out. Oy!

Normally would have gotten off in Bayside, but I had to go meet DW in New Hyde Park. Took 90 minutes by the time I got off the Bridge to get to NHP. This distance would normally take 20 minutes at most from Bayside. Downed trees, streets closed, the Cross Island got flooded and soil washed on to the parkway by the LIE.

      What a mess!
