  • Good Cape Cod resort for 2013

Never been to Cape Cod but have always wanted to go. We want to find a resort that is close to everything
for day trips. No kids will be with us, just old folks. Also, what month would you suggest. Any other information would be helpful.

I've never been to Cape Cod either, but have reserved Brewster Green for September 2013. I have heard from others that it is centrally located, and I want to see and do it all while I am there.

Brewster Green is a nice resort but far from everything. I like Cape Cod Holiday Estates and the Sea mist and resorts in the area of Yarmouth. They may not be as nice as BG but closer to where you want to be

Spent last week in West Yarmouth at Holly Tree in a Townhouse Unit. It was lovely...clean, friendly staff and the unit was large. I did have to use the stairs to access the bedroom, they do have Townhouse units without stairs. Not sure how the regular two bedroom units are as I did not see one. I did spend one extra night in a studio-fine for one night, a murphy bed and pullout couch, but I would NOT stay in a studion for one week. Great indoor and outdoor pool-I spent a lot of time there reading and relaxing. The Holly Tree and Cove at Yarmouth is close to Hyanis, Yarmouth. I also drove to Sandwich and Provinctown. Drove by the Cove at Yarmouth-looks nice from the outside.

Like Frank said, the central cape seems to be the place to stay. When to stay depends on what you want to do---but I would suggest shoulder season-early June or September when the pitter patter of little school age feet are missing.

I like Surfside Resort in Falmouth. OCEANFRONT with full kitchens, and indoor and outdoor pools.
Listen to and watch the waves as they break on the beach. Only reason to go to the Cape.
