  • Today I had "LUNCH" at a French Restaurant on Park Ave.

    Les Halles on Park Avenue.

This is the place where Anthony Bourdain was the Executive Chef. I had Steak with Frites, and salad.

In all honesty I preferred the Turkish Kitchen better. Today's place was rustic and dark, dingy. The Turkish kitchen was bright, colorful, the food was better.

Is Anthony Bourdain still involved w/ Les Halles? It was good years ago, but even 12 years ago people were saying it wasn't what it had been.

Bourdain is doing Travel Chanel television. Poking fun at Rachel Ray, and the Food Network.

Whenever I get some spare time at the home office, we take advantage and go out to eat at Lunch. Up in the hills of Sleepy Hollow there is no food choice. The cafeteria gets old real fast!

The Farmers Almanac does always tells you that when the little furry mammals like squirrels, chipmunks, muskrats, and raccoons are getting a thick coat, beware of a cold winter.

As a matter of fact the mammals up in Westchester are getting rather fluffy. I do think we are in for a cold winter. How about their cousins in CT?

The chipmunks seem to have a normal coat, no minks yet.

Wondering how the foxes are doing in the Northwest. EasyRider you live in Washington, State. What gives. We need a weather report.

Billy Billy Billy. You know a saying us avid outdoorsman have is "when the beavers fur get thick, winters coming quick."

Nothing better then a fun lunch to perk up an otherwise mundane day. Trying new restaurants for lunch is a great way to taste test restaurants without risking too much. Enjoy!

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.
