Snowing on the southern shore of LI, I am at work...DH is picking me up - he works right at the LIE by Nassau/Suffolk border, says it is slippery and miserable driving....will this never end?

I can not beieve you guys arehaving to go thru this again!! I suggest you all run away and come down south where it is beautiful. I'm sure we'll get it sometime this winter. I have a small house but I will glad to have you stay here, just bring sleeping bags, I'll provide the rest. Hugs, Shaggy

I ran out of gas trying to get home. Managed on fumes to back out of the highway entrance in reverse, left car on the street at gasless-station and got a ride from an angel to the subway.

The city is pretty in the snow... lalalala

I really feel for my old neighbors and those of you in places that just got power back. Or hadn't yet. Power wasn't even restored across much of my old 'hood yet and was out this afternoon where it had been.
