Sandcastle recently changed their check-in dates, from Sat to I think Friday. I wondered how that would work with weeks already on deposit at RCI (not to mention exchanges into Sandcastle already confirmed.)

This morning there was an email from RCI that my 2013 Sandcastle week had been withdrawn from RCI. I logged onto to RCI to look, and it was there, but at a lower TPU than my original spacebank long ago.

I called and 'splained to the guide why I was calling - to get a supervisor to please restore my original TPU's. The VG was dubious that was possible, but finally came back to inform me a supervisor was indeed adding the missing TPU's back to my deposit - now named "combined" rather than "Sandcastle".

So, check your banked Sandcastle weeks, and request an RCI supervisor if anything is amiss.

This may happen with our already-banked 2014 and 2015 weeks as well.

Thanks for the heads up, Laurie. And I'm really glad to hear they changed the checkins to Friday, tpu headaches aside.

The check in is on Sunday, not Friday. My week 27 checks in on 7/7 this year.

If in doubt call Sandcastle and ask. My unit is rented this year which is why I called to be certain I gave my tenant the correct date.

Supposedly it is. There was a notice that came out with the maintenance fee billing that stated Sunday. I called a few weeks ago to make certain I told my renter the correct date and was told Sunday.....
