Been closed since Sandy. Note temporary location. This is great for visitors planning to be down in the area - they sell tickets for same evening and for matinees the next day, unlike the Times Square location.


South Street Seaport to Reopen
Friday, July 5 at 11am!
We are happy to announce that TDF will reopen the South Street Seaport TKTS Discount Booth at a temporary location at the corner of Fulton and South Streets this Friday, July 5 at 11am....



Public Transportation:

By subway:
J, Z, 2, 3, 4, 5 to Fulton Street or A, C to Broadway-Nassau.
By bus from Midtown:
M15 downtown on 2nd Avenue to South Street Seaport.

I took the subway to Brooklyn and bought tickets there. Same rules as Seaport and far fewer people in line.

That's great news.

I took the subway to Brooklyn and bought tickets there. Same rules as Seaport and far fewer people in line.

Also a good strategy.

And for those of you who don't need to see Broadway musicals, there is a "play only" window that has a MUCH shorter line at Times Square - I've gotten tix to things there by showing up at the last minute (well, maybe 7 pm), no waiting.
