  • Marriott Fairway Villa's....Area restaurant recommendations, please!

I've booked a number of units for the 18th, and will be going for a long weekend with friends. I actually haven't been there in a couple of years, and was wondering what restaurants would be a good choice for breakfast, lunch dinner, even just drinks?

I'm really just giving this my attention now, and am not sure if I will need reservations, etc.

Also, has anyone been to Bernards Inn? Thanks so much for any info!!!

Hi Angela - for dinner, one of my favorites is the Rams Head Inn - consistently great meals in a classic atmosphere with great service.

Totally different atmosphere, a great BYOB on Route 9 is Athenian garden, a Greek restaurant - family run, delicious home cooked food - Grandma and Grandpa were in the kitchen! Loved the lemon chicken soup and the fresh grilled octopus.

Everyone loves Shea's cafe for breakfast (as you can tell from the lines waiting out the door), but I prefer the stuffed French toast at the little breakfast joint in Snithville (across the pond near the paddle boat rentals).

The Seaview hotel bar makes a great martini - sometimes they'll have a piano player (and I can walk home if needed

I think it's worth the ride to Cape May for a great dinner too - The Mad Batter has relaxing outdoor dinning if it's nice weather.

Not going to mention all the AC restaurants as you have your pick of all the national chains!

There is an Italian restaurant right down the road http://www.romanellisonline.com/. Food and service was great, You can go there for Breakfast Lunch and Diner and honestly I would do all 3.
And right next to it is Mexican http://www.laescondidamexican.com/. I highly recommend it
. Also you are very close to Smithsville with out a doubt spend the day there. http://www.smithvillenj.com/

We love the mad batter and the back dining area is set like a garden. Check restaurant.com they sometimes have GC for the MB and for Angelonis II

which is in AC, I have to say that the food at http://www.angelonis.com/ is great! and for Cheese Steaks or other heros Whitehouse Subs http://whitehousesubshop.net/

BTW find the time to go by the Aquarium for out door dinning on the water
