  • Harbor Ridge, ME. No a/c, problem in summer?

Just got a surprise confirmation for a one bedroom mid-summer.... Am a little concerned about the lack of a/c, especially since it sounds like the unit is a three story townhouse... Anyone familiar with it?

Been there about 10 times and yes the one bedroom is three stories. On a very hot day you might get a bit uncomfortable, but there are fans and a skylight on the top floor that opens to provide ventilation, so it is somewhat unlikely that there will be a heat problem. Often the sea breeze from the harbor down the hill will cool it off sufficiently. At one time the lower floor of the one bedroom units had a huge jacuzzi, but I heard a rumor that the may have removed them. The one bedroom is the same size as the two bedroom-which has the second bedroom in the lower level. What unit number did they assign you ?

Unit 15.... I do wish it was a two bedroom but this seems a good catch....

That's a unit at the top of the hill, should have a great view of the little bit of harbor that's viewable. Short walk to the clubhouse.

Thanks, Tony. I ended up letting it go, too much uncertainty around the date that got matched, especially with the 1 bedroom. I'll probably kick myself when the time comes, but I'm tired of eating exchange fees.
