It is sunny and warm here in Southern California. It has been 75-82 for several days. However there is a downside to this nice weather. We are in the worst drought in history and fire danger is very high. The Governor declared a state of emergency because of the drought.

Warm weather envy here!
We've gotten about 6 inches so far and they say the heaviest snow hasn't started yet!
DH is out working. He is a courier for a hospital and transports specimens. UGH!Jacki

It took DH 2hrs, 10 minutes to get home...Under normal conditions it's a 20 minute drive. Hope everyone gets home safe & sound!

DH just got home. He was supposed to work until 10 pm, but it took him 3 hours just to get to the first hospital on the route. The lab where he works was set up with cots and air mattresses for the workers who got stuck there, but our AWD got him home safe and sound.JackiComment

I'm not much of a photographer so here is a press photo showing yesterdays winner (Simon Gerrans - Australia) at the Tour Down Under. Today's winner, went through the finish line less than an hour ago. It's the rather gorgeous Italian, Diego Ulissi of UCI ProTour team Lampre-Merida (pictured to the left of the picture in pink sleeves).
