Amazing lineup. I am going through Jazzfest withdrawal so this will hopefully help ease the pain.
You may have heard of the Sloop Clearwater, I believe Pete Seeger was responsible for raising the funding to build it to raise awareness of environmental issues around the river.

Quite a story how he helped turn the Hudson around. Sometimes people scoff at someone because they are a little out of step with those around them. He had the patience to let them catch up with him.

Build a ship, sail it up and down the river, and people will come to see. Then clean the river up.
