So I wandered 7th Ave and Broadway as I was waiting for my room to be ready. Wound up buying a tic from a scalper to Lion King tonight already. Spending money already!

Grayfal, how hard is it to get tickets to Billy Joel?

So as I was coming back to the hotel walking through Central Park, there multiple ambulances and police as there were two cyclists that crashed badly. They were put on backboards with neck braces and the whole nine yards. I didn't see the crash, just came upon it.

Last night as you got closer to Times Square and whole area, I have to say it was just a gong show! Women totally nude except wearing painted outfits, buskers dressed up as superheros, etc. I call it Vegas on steroids!

Not hard at all…I purchased mine thru Ticketron - or else Stub Hub…he only plays one date a month at MSG.

Yes, it happens all the time. A friend of mine broke both wrists and a few other bones in her hands getting knocked off her bike. She was with her 8 y.o. son, who thankfully escaped unharmed.

I hope you enjoyed the Lion King. If you find yourself with more wandering time on your hands, please get out of the Times Square area - it can be a bit of a freak show, but it's also really crowded and touristy and commercial, and if you don't have theatre to see in the area almost any other neighborhood has more, or at least very different, character.

Probably check out Brooklyn tomorrow AM and then have the 9/11 walk and memorial in the pm. Greenwich food tour later this week.

Wed is supposed to be thundershowers so not quite sure what to line up for that day.

Really want to get out to Farmingdale to golf Bethpage Black but didn't get a registration number before I left so I can't call in to try to book a tee time

Was able to meet up with Glitter last night for a couple bevvies. Thank Glitter for treating me to some great NY hospitality!

Made it today to the newly opened 9/11 Memorial Museum. Definitely a lot to take in! They've done a great job of bringing everything all together
