La Marina, Upper Manhattan, on the water, great sunsets

I just love this location, not sure how much longer they'll do Cuban music on Wednesdays but the views of the GW Bridge and sunset are gorgeous here and I don't know of anyplace with this much waterfront outdoor space. Walkable from the A train, or take a cab, or pay $20 to park. Food is quite decent for a place you don't go to for the food. Interesting nyc history here, too, but not for posting

Interesting. We went to La Marina in Honolulu near the airport this past May. Wonder if both are related.

I don't know Chris -- I seem to recall a Dominican affiliation but by now I expect it's owned by a restaurant conglomerate.
