Going to Maine this fall!!

Not much that I noticed. It has been a hot dry summer there, so whatever color is coming should be coming in the next 3 weeks. We have no color here yet in northwest, CT, and we had a rather moist and hot summer.

Talked to a guy from Jersey who had dinner at Lunt's Lobster pound with his wife last week for $ 74. Glad we don't like lobster.

When we were up there, one of the most interesting things we did was The Penobscot Narrows Observatory - There's an elevator, and it is Handicap Accessible.............check it out...........

You'll have a great time no matter what you do................BTW....we noticed color starting to change here in southern MA yesterday, (3 mi from Gillette Stadium)

Low color now in southern Maine. I also noticed some color where I live. The Maine shore has had a dry hot summer, while we have been considerably wetter than average. Various weather conditions have an effect on the fall color. I hope you aren't going until until the weekend of the 13th or 20th.

According to news this morning, there is peak color in Bar Harbor now,

I get an update once a week. It looks like i did luck up !! I am very excited . I can't wait.
