It's funny this thread came up today as I was trying to talk friends into going to Newport yesterday and today I mentioned it to my SIL. Hopefully in the fall we can find an open weekend to go.

FF is sometimes available but I had wanted to do a bed and breakfast. If I am able to get a 2 bedroom then I might do a timeshare. Timing is tight as I will be in Nola in OCT.

I have been in Newport about 4 times. Each time we spent the entire day into night while traveling through. I allmost booked a few nights there and then got a Cape cod week as an exchange.

Marty I do not see the mansion that I went to. I forget the name but it is the one that does the candle light tour.
