PARTIAL VIEW Orchestra and Front Mezzanine seats: $68
PARTIAL VIEW Rear Mezzanine, Balcony and Box seats: $45

Mostly Off to the side, I have lucked out a few times on Balcony tickets.

So, would you say this is a good deal and if we want to see Spamalot I should go for it?

Each theater is different, With Balcony, You lose the view of the inside you are on but you have a good view of the remaining stage. However, This was not the case when we saw Pajama Game. The balcony seats were tops as it was right in the Orch front.

The balcony at the Spamalot theatre is at a steep incline, so you are looking Down quite a bit. Some of the obstructed view seats have some of the top of the rear stage cut off due to the angle, others (probably the orchestra ones) have either the right or left wall of the stage obstructed (there are a few snippets of scenes that take place on the sides, not a major portion of the show). We sat in the balcony when we went simply b/c they were only seats available at the time, I wished I'd been closer (I also wished Tim Curry hadn't called in sick that day , but that's not an issue you'll have to deal with...)

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

              if you like music

It has been a couple of years since I have been there, but The Blue Note Cafe has some great musicians and you are up close and personal. DW saw Mel Torme there about 15 years ago.

This auction would keep you busy the whole weekend, not sure where the price will end up...

Wow! I'll keep my eyes on this. Oh wait, I can't. I'm going to be in PA during the time the auction closes with no access to a computer.

They will likely run another one just like it when this closes. Keep an eye on the site.

If you want to avoid buying, head over to Madison Avenue and walk north. The prices will keep you safe.

Well, we're going to the theater. I told Steve I was buying tickets and asked how much input he wanted. He said "a lot". We're going to see "The Fantasticks" at $45 a ticket. We're both happy.
