  • NYC Hotspots Jekyll & Hyde comes to Bayville

The Bayville Adventure Park is set to open next spring on the Bayville Ave. isthmus. It will offer fun for the whole family.....Hunt for buried treasure, Pirates golf, bumper boats, man-made lagoon, rock-climbing, fun house, arcade games and other amusements.

Just in time for Halloween will be the Bayville Scream Park....three houses of horror mazes due to open Sept. 29, on the 5 acre site.

Also opening in the park will be the Shipwreck Tavern....a full-service restaurant with open-air rooftop lounge and tiki bar with three enormous saltwater fish tanks and a wrecked hull to impart the mood of the vast deep.

Creepy story lines, and elaborate props have proven a lucrative formula for Jekyll & Hyde.

      Avery,

I just re-read the article. I's in today's Newsday, if you want to take a look. Anyway, I think this year....."also opening in the park this fall will be the Shipwreck Tavern."

I will swing by at some point, real soon, and let you know for sure. It sounds like it's gonna be a fun place for the kids.

          Frank,

That would be real convenient for me. It's about 10 minutes from my house. I'd tend to think that it would be crowded and over-run with kids, tho. Also, as Avery has mentioned, the food in the city locations has never really been any good, Hopefully, the food here will be better.....................

It does sound like it's going to be a fun place, tho, and the location is right opposite the Bayville Beach. I'm sure it will be a big hit in the area.
