I would sooo be there if Bruce Campbell were in it. Or if Raimi had anything to do with this, besides give them the rights to make a musical out of his brainchild. I once had an Evil Dead Trilogy viewing party that went all night long. So you know I'm a fan.
However...I'm afraid they might really botch this musical version. IMO the "jukebox musical" is a genre that's sorely lacking in substance After attending the horrible "Mamma Mia" bway show, I'm going to be very picky about bwy musicals.

I generally agree with you regarding the 'jukebox musical' genre, in fact I am the only one in my family who hasn't seen Mamma Mia (though everyone I know loves it).
BUT I thought the theme for this was kind of fun.... there is another 'Halloween special' coming around, it's more of a "Haunted House' walk through type thing, though...called "Nightmare, Face Your Fear:"
