I would sooo be there if Bruce Campbell were in it. Or if Raimi had anything to do with this, besides give them the rights to make a musical out of his brainchild. I once had an Evil Dead Trilogy viewing party that went all night long. So you know I'm a fan.

However...I'm afraid they might really botch this musical version. IMO the "jukebox musical" is a genre that's sorely lacking in substance After attending the horrible "Mamma Mia" bway show, I'm going to be very picky about bwy musicals.

I generally agree with you regarding the 'jukebox musical' genre, in fact I am the only one in my family who hasn't seen Mamma Mia (though everyone I know loves it).

BUT I thought the theme for this was kind of fun.... there is another 'Halloween special' coming around, it's more of a "Haunted House' walk through type thing, though...called "Nightmare, Face Your Fear:"

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

Also give her this discount code: STYX It's good for $5 off per ticket on some shows.

I am going to try to get DH to take our younger son, the horror movie fan.
