Ok, the event [STRIKE]sucked[/STRIKE] was disappointing. It was the first year, vendors were fewer than I expected and prices weren't great. I won't recommend it again.

BUT I had a GREAT time with Angela and her friend, it was a gorgeous day to walk (and shop) all over Soho (followed by a yummy meal at Olive's in the W on Park and 17th... can you say Tahitian Vanilla Souffle?)

How nice to meet each other! Did you "shop till you drop"? I hope not but you said that it was disappointing so I don't think so. At least you had a nice lunch together! I wished too, like Luanne, that I had been there with you today.

We had a great time in Soho........and as Avery already mentioned, dinner was yummy! I thought the the appetizers, and the desert were the best. Well, not counting the Cosmos, of course.........

We walked all day and did lots of window shopping. The weather was perfect. Not too many purchases, although Avery got a real nice poncho.

It was just a real fun day!

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

I was once in New York when the fall colors were out because we drove to New Haven in Connecticut and it was absolutely beautiful. How about next October? I will come alone, if my DH doesn't want to go, and stay in a hotel and not mess with trying to get a timeshare. He may change his mind like he did with the TUG cruise too as I was going to go alone.

Thanks so much for the invite as I would love to meet you too.

              Emmy,

October is a great time to be in the city. Not too hot, not to cold. You may have to get out of town to see much color, but you can always stroll through Central Park if you want to see some trees!

              Sending you a pm.
