  • Syracuse Dining Suggestions?

Well we are off to Syracuse for the Pop Warner Football Semi-Finals.

The powers that be have deemed that Syracuse is the mid-point for both teams. I think the powers that be should utilize MapQuest as our team must travel 4 hours while the Rochester team only has to go 1.5 hours. Binghamton would have been a better location.

Be that as it may. We are all driving up tommorow and staying at the Genesee Grande <an odd choice for 26 11-to-13 year old boys but it wasn't my decision to make.>.

I used to visit Syracuse quite often for work but that was quite some time ago. Any suggestions for eats? Particularly Dinner and breakfast?

Dinosaur's rib place is awesome. Very small, but it is definately appropriate for kids. There is also a great Italian restaurent on Van Brunt St. It is Casa something. I can't recall the rest of the name.

PS, where are you located in Rockland County?

        Dinosaur was TERRIFIC!

We had to wait an hour to be seated but well worth it. The pulled pork was outrageous and Dinosaur slather is YUMMY!

        Thanks for the suggestions.

BTW This hotel is a bit pretentious. No coffee maker in the rooms....

Have I mentioned how much I hate hotel rooms? Oh well I can put up with the inconvenience for 18 hours BUT I am taking the reins if we win this game and have to go to Rochester after Thankgiving.

Ann-Marie we live in New City.
