Avery, this one looks very interesting. That sounds like a great deal. I'm going to google the hotel.

Top 20 deal - sells out quickly!

Travel dates: Through Jan. 31 (Thu.-Sun.); February +$20

    By Allison Wylie
    Travelzoo Staff

For weekend stays (Thu.-Sun.) in January, the Morgans Hotel just released an unbelievable $259 per night special for its oversized 1-bedroom suites! These luxurious rooms normally go for more than $449 per night!

But wait, there's more: In addition to posh accommodations, this deal also includes FREE continental breakfast for 2 at NYC hotspot Asia de Cuba and 1 complimentary drink each (for 2) per stay at the swanky Morgans Bar.

Can't make it in January? Don't worry, you can still reserve the deal in February for just $20 more per night.

The Morgans Hotel was named the "handsomest hotel in New York" by Vanity Fair magazine and features a hip, yet home-away-from-home atmosphere with comfortable furnishings and an actual living room where guests can relax. The boutique hotel is situated on Madison Avenue in midtown Manhattan, walking distance from Fifth Avenue shopping, the Broadway Theater District and the Empire State Building.

To book: Click here to reserve online or for more information on the hotel. You can also call the Morgans at 1-800-334-3408 and make sure to mention Travelzoo. Book by Jan. 19.

Still, it's well worth it. I think that would make the stay, worth while.

Avery.....The Morgan Hotel is absolutely wild.......

          http://www.morganshotelgroup.com/company.html

I love it!!!! I don't know, I think I might be better off staying at the Marriott, tho. I can use my credit card, and get points, and get another night or two toward our silver membership.

          Tough choice.

I agree, especially since the rate is good with the discount, and you'll get Marriott points.

I do have one, but it's for $50 off a two-night stay, not $100. Now you have to go through the calculations of whether $25 off per night is worth it, or if you get one off eBay for $20 then that's $40 off per night. It's getting complicated.
And it does say the coupon is void if sold for cash or auctioned on the internet.

You have to pay with an Amex card and you have to book through 1-800-899-7235. I did call when we were going to Pittsburgh and the guy said the plain vanilla Internet rate would be fine, but not a promotional rate like AAA or AARP or anything like that.

Why don't you call and just make sure your $229 rate will be valid and that you can use this coupon? I can mail you the coupon today if you want it.

I didn't really want to pay with Amex. I wanted to use my Visa, so that I could get more Marriott points. I think that I will call the hotel, and see what they will accept, just to be sure.

Thank you so much for the offer, tho. If I think that I can use, I will let you know. If I can, I will pay you what ever you payed for it.....Thanks again.

It was free, I think it came from using my Amex and staying at a couple of Marriotts last year. Sorry you can't use it! Do you have a Marriott Visa? I wonder why they didn't send this coupon to their own cardholders?

You would think that they would. They are probably trying to get you to sighn up. I get lots of different offers from Marriott, and every once in a while, I get coupons. I don't have any, at the moment, tho.

                          That's OK, I don't mind spending the $20.00, it's well worth it.

Some people on another board were just talking about this place that they stayed by times square and they enjoyed it. Couldn't give you first hand recommendations though. I checked and they have availability on the night you wanted under your price range.

Thank you....I just checked, and this place looks very reasonable. I didn't find anything available for my dates, but they are offering a 2 Bedroom With One Double Bed and Two Twin Beds, plus living room, and kitchenette, for $250. a night......The 1 bedroom was only $155.00 a night.

The only availability that I saw, was a one bedroom, with 2 twin beds.

I will keep this in mind, if not for this stay, for another time. The prices are great, and the location is very convenient. I will keep checking back, just to see if anything becomes available.

                              Thanks again!!!

I stayed at Radio City Apartments over the summer and it was well worth it. Great location within an easy walk to the theater district. Let me know if you have any questions. I believe it came to $175 total for the night which included parking right around the corner.
