You mean that you didn't want to paint your own pottery, or visit the Old Baptist Church Museum? And, you're gonna pass on the Machine Gun Safari? I can't imagine when you would get another chance to shoot a full auto machine gun, at a fraction of the price of owning one.
You better think again.......

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.
BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.
Lordy is there lots to do in the area. A don't miss is Clark's Trading Post. There's the hobo railroad and the dinner train. The Flume, the basin, a drive up the Kancamagus. Lost River (count on getting dirty) and points north have lots of attractions. Go up Mt. Washington if it's really hot- but bring a jacket- you can take a van, drive yourself or take the Cog train. Loon mountain has gondolas a few few things up top, or you can take the gondola up Cannon mountain. Shop in North Conway (traffic is heavy) or take the North Conway scenic railroad. There's a water park nearby Lincoln. You didn't say when you were going and some things are seasonal. Lots more, but my fingers are tired.

Tony, thanks. Sorry I forgot to mention that we're going up on Friday. This Friday. So I think the waterpark is out
Pansy ! There is a place called Heritage, NH which might be of interest(indoors)- one of the few places I haven't been to that is on my rainy day list.
Ask yourself, how many opportunities do you have to have an unique experience? Machine gunning is a once in a lifetime experience. Just imagine what your friends and family would say when you told them how much fun you had doing it. Can't you just see their jaws drop?

When I was about 8 or 10, my Dad thought I should learn how to shoot a rifle. He figured better I know the weapon than wonder about it. I got a recoil bruise the size of a grapefruit, if my mother was still alive she'd still be furious at him.
